New Elders

At their May 8 meeting the elders approved a motion to recommend the appointment of the following four individuals to the Elder Team at Victory Point Church: Kevin Christians, Doug Dreyer, Cadie Putnam and Brian Rees. 


* If you have voting member status at Victory Point, you are invited to participate in a vote of affirmation and feedback of this recommendation. Deadline to participate is June 5.

  • Kevin christians

    Kevin & Stacey have two sons, Carson and Cooper. They've been part of the VP Family for 13 years, participating in various missional communities, and are currently part of the Great Lakes Elementary Missional Community. Their family also serves on the Greeting Team. Stacey helps lead the kids ministry at VP, and works in childcare at Jenison Christian. Kevin is a founding member of the "What's On Tap" men's group, and works as a Service Director at Westside Service.

  • doug dreyer

    Doug and Pam have three adult children and one grandchild. They've been part of the VP Family for 30 years, and have been involved in many groups, teams, huddles and communities (most recently as co-leaders with other couples of the Gateway Mission Missional Community). Doug served as an elder and also as a Sunday tech leader in the early days of Victory Point. Doug and Pam serve on the Prayer Team. Pam manages the VP office a couple days a week and helps coordinate hospitality efforts. Doug is the owner of West Michigan Pullets.

  • cadie putnam

    Cadie & David have one adult son and one elementary-age son, Lucas. Cadie has been part of the VP Family since she was a child. As a family, they've been part of missional communities, and currently serve on the Greeting Team. Cadie has been in a discipleship huddle and is also part of the Prayer Team. David is a shipping and receiving assistant at Impact Fabrication, and Cadie is a branch manager at West Michigan Community Bank. 

  • brian rees

    Brian & Keri have four adult children and two grandchildren. They've been part of the VP Family for 6 years, and were part of the Gateway Mission Missional Community. Keri helps provide leadership for Kids Hope events, and invests time in grandchildren and aging parents. Brian has been in a discipleship huddle, and currently serves on the Sunday morning tech team. Brian is a mostly-retired patent attorney.
