Church isn't a building. It's a people. Church isn't something you "go" to. It's an identity. It's a community of diverse, everyday people centering around Jesus and His Kingdom. It's Jesus' Body on earth (He's the Head) till He returns.

There are two expressions of the Church in Scripture - the Gathered and the Scattered Church. They both are important. In our context the Gathered Church meets on Sundays to exalt the Lord, edify each other and be equipped to be sent out on mission. Think of Sunday morning as the "locker room" where the team come together mid-game to re-orient, re-fuel and to cheer each other back onto the field, because mission happens out there. The Scattered Church is smaller communities (we call them missional communities) of people living like spiritual family and practicing the lifestyle of Jesus together in everyday life throughout the week.
