On Sunday, August 28, instead of gathering at the VP Building for morning worship, we converged on Camp Geneva Shores at 1pm for a church meal together, followed by baptisms in Lake Michigan, singing and testimonies (then an afternoon of frolicking in the Geneva pool). Our plan was to baptize 8 from the VP family, and we ended up baptizing 10 (from 10 years old to 82 years old!). We celebrate extravagantly with those who showed and shared their faith in Jesus in such a public way in the waters of baptism.
